Opened in 2022, Alba Thermal Springs & Spa is a world-class luxury wellness sanctuary in the heart of Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. Set within 15 hectares of landscaped native gardens, Alba combines contemporary geothermal bathing, luxury spa experiences, exceptional dining and overnight accommodation in a destination designed to restore body and mind.
Guided by a philosophy of wellness, sustainability and connection to nature, Alba has offset its emissions through Trace since its first day of operation and continues to invest in experiences that celebrate the Peninsula’s landscape, produce and community.
Thermal Springs | Geothermal Bathing
Alba offers contemporary geothermal bathing across more than 30 pools, each thoughtfully designed to create a distinct atmosphere and sensory experience. Guests can discover rain pools, forest pools, the west-facing Eve sunset pool, private rooftop geothermal pools, salt baths, cold plunge pools and The Terrace private bathing experiences.
With landscape and pools designed by MALA Studio, every pool responds to its surrounding landscape, creating moments of solitude, reflection and social connection within native gardens that continue to evolve as part of Alba’s long-term ecological regeneration program.
Spa | Treatments, Services & Rituals
The spa at Alba features more than 20 treatment rooms and an extensive menu of over 50 treatments and wellness experiences. Guests can choose from individual massages and facials, immersive bathing rituals, Vichy therapies, hammam experiences, half-day wellness journeys and full-day signature escapes.
Treatments feature leading Australian skincare partners Sodashi and Vanessa Megan, with rituals designed to complement the therapeutic benefits of geothermal bathing and support renewal, restoration and relaxation.
Thyme Restaurant
Located at the heart of the springs complex, Thyme celebrates the rich produce of the Mornington Peninsula through a seasonal all-day menu designed to complement Alba’s wellness philosophy. Guests can enjoy locally sourced ingredients, regional wines and relaxed indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the water features, geothermal pools and native gardens.
Thyme also hosts curated seasonal experiences including wellness high teas, long lunches and private dining events.
The Sanctuary | Luxury Accommodation
Introduced in 2025, The Sanctuary extends Alba’s wellness experience into an overnight retreat. The accommodation enclave comprises five beautifully reimagined stand-alone villas and two studio rooms, positioned on the upper ridge of the property with sweeping views across the Mornington Peninsula.
Each villa combines calming interiors by KWD with premium local touches including Aesop amenities, curated minibar provisions, breakfast at Thyme or in-villa, and access to Alba’s geothermal bathing experiences. Designed to encourage guests to slow down and fully immerse themselves in the rhythm of the property, The Sanctuary transforms a day visit into a restorative multi-day escape.

Alba offers a collection of distinctive indoor and outdoor spaces for executive retreats, corporate meetings, incentive programs, wellness experiences, product launches, private celebrations and milestone occasions.
From exclusive use of The Sanctuary accommodation and private geothermal bathing to bespoke dining experiences at Thyme, Alba’s events team can curate tailored experiences that combine wellness, nature and exceptional hospitality. Selected areas of the property, including private bathing spaces and event venues, can be reserved for exclusive group experiences, while the entire Alba precinct is also available for full-property buyouts for major corporate and private events.
