Melbourne’s jazz music scene flows into Alba Thermal Springs & Spa, where lush geothermal pools provide the backdrop for a unique series of live jazz sessions. Whether soaking in the pools, picnicking in the native gardens, or sipping wine and enjoying cheese on the restaurant forecourt, soak up some of the city’s finest jazz surrounded by nature, the perfect way to unwind during the festival.

Holly Moore Trio

Saxophonist and composer Holly Moore is celebrated for her distinctive compositional voice and commanding musicianship. Her works have been described as “majestic” (The Age), while The Australian has hailed her as an “outstanding instrumentalist”. Across two captivating sets, Moore will lead her trio alongside acclaimed guitarist Matt Hoyne and double bassist Robbie Finch.
Dean Kalait Trio

Saxophonist Dean Kalait is a new and distinctive voice in Australian jazz, known for his unique blend of lyricism and experimental creativity. His raw, emotive style has a focus on narrative based storytelling. Kalait is joined by his exceptional rhythm section, Lily Appelt (double bass) and Quinn Knight (drums).
