Fact Sheet | Alba Thermal Springs & Spa

Alba Thermal Springs & Spa is Victoria’s newest bathing, dining, and wellness oasis in Fingal on the Mornington Peninsula.

Alba is a world-class thermal springs and day spa sanctuary on a beautifully landscaped 15-hectare property.

Alba’s guests can enjoy contemporary bathing and spa experiences with a range of indoor, open-air, and outdoor thermal pools and a menu of spa services created to renew, repair, and recalibrate.

Alba also offers a premium dining experience at the spa restaurant, Thyme, in the heart of the springs and spa complex.

Thermal springs

Alba has 31 pools of varying sizes, including geothermal pools, cold plunge pools and forest pools. Each pool has been meticulously designed for its setting and social purpose. Some are submerged in a flowering meadow, some created as apertures to the sky, and others are cradled in drifts of waving grasses. Some pools are intimate, peaceful and private, while others are social.

High on the site, The Hemisphere offers bathing in tranquil hidden gardens. There is a semi-enclosed geothermal pool known as The Hide, a cold plunge pool, a steam room and a sauna.

Spa

Alba has 22 spa treatment rooms, including a steam room, Vichy shower, and single or double massage rooms. Visitors can choose from over 30 spa experiences encompassing facial, body and water-based treatments. A spacious relaxation lounge on the mezzanine level features private booths and oversized day beds overlooking the native gardens.

The spa treatment menu features Australian-made products by Vanessa Megan and Sodashi.

Thyme restaurant

In the heart of the complex, Thyme is situated on a terrace with indoor and outdoor seating. Guests can enjoy restful vistas across the water feature and pools to the native gardens and bushland. Leading Australian chef Karen Martini has created an all-day menu of fresh, flavoursome dishes with local, seasonal produce. Head chef Mario Di Natale leads the culinary team.
